Fremont Town & Country Path

Why it’s great for the first time biker and paved walking trail…

Biking/walking the Fremont Town & Country Path is an easy beginner path since there is not too many intense hills. There are many spots that allow for a place to rest. This path allows for you to turn back anytime if 5.5 miles is too long.


Trail Description

Fremont Town & Country Path is a paved 5.5-mile non-motorized pathway. It goes through much of Fremont, taking you through the scenic parts of the city. One can end there bike ride either at Branstrom Park or Fremont Lake Park, both providing a place to rest and have a picnic. The path has three trailheads (Branstrom Park, Fremont Lake, and a little parking lot on Locust Drive). The park takes you by water, forested areas, and farmland. There are plenty of benches along the way when you need a rest or to have a picnic. The bike path does not take you to the downtown area, but it is not too far from the bike path.
