The Ludington School forest is a great place to pick up the mountain biking / fat biking sport.  With many loops all at a beginner to easy/moderate difficulty, this is a great place that is close to downtown Ludington to stretch your legs and enjoy a ride in the woods.

There are over 2 miles of designated walking trails throughout the Ludington School Forest and is great for a leisurely stroll.

The Ludington School forest is one of the regions latest trails to be a 365 day a year trail with groomed fat tire riding in the winter.

Most of the trails can be tackled in under 2 hours.

Trail Description

The trails can be accessed near the intersection of Tinkham Ave. and Jebavy Drive near the disc golf area. With trails for biking, hiking, and skiing, this area is home to twists and turns through ten miles of woodland, offering outdoor enthusiasts a worthy adversary along with the new Cartier Park trails included.

Difficulty: Beginner
